Based on the idyllic Isle of Wight, Goodleaf Tree Climbing offers you the opportunity to enjoy a fun & exhilarating adventure activity in our ancient oak trees. Although relatively new in the UK, recreational tree climbing has been well established in the US for many years. It is accessible and safe - anyone from age 8-80 can climb. Climbing your way to the top of a 60ft tree gives you the chance to see the natural world from a different perspective whilst also giving you an enormous sense of achievement.
What happens on a Goodleaf climb? We start with a full safety briefing, then you are fitted with a harness and hard hat. We talk you through what to expect, and you are clipped in to your rope (which has already been securely fastened to the tree). We give you a demonstration, then it's your turn & you begin your ascent; closely supervised and instructed throughout. Once you have climbed as high as you want to go, you can hang out in the canopy, maybe resting awhile in our treeboat before abseiling to the ground through the branches. Back on the ground, the picnic blanket awaits you with delicious homemade refreshments to celebrate your achievement and replace all the energy you have burnt off. If you're still feeling adventurous, there's time for branch walking & hanging upside down...25ft above the ground!
