Located in a quite close on the outskirts of the village this terraced property is just a few minutes walk from the open forest, village shops, and Sway Station with main line services to London Waterloo and Bournemouth & Poole.
There is a choice of two double sunny rooms with adjoining bathroom with bath, shower, WC and hand basin. The rooms are tastefully decorated and one overlooks the charming and extensive garden at the rear of the house. There is also a terrace area where meals can be served in suitable weather. Both rooms have their own tea and coffee making facilities as well as TV.
The 5-star breakfast contains sausages from the award winning Sway butchers in the village, bacon is traditionally reared and home produced by the Oakwood Butchers at Setley and the eggs are local and free range. All products are locally sourced and produced where possible.
There are many choices of good local pubs and restaurants to eat in, the nearest is the Hare & Hounds pub which is a 3 minute walk and in the village the award winning Nurses Cottage Restaurant, also within walking distance.
It is only a few minutes walk to the open forest where you can walk, cycle or horse ride. Art Sway in the village is a contemporary art gallery hosting exhibitions as well as many courses and activities. Other attractions in the area are the local beaches, Beaulieu Motor Museum, the Isle of Wight, Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard, or the Georgian town of Lymington with its Saturday market and several marinas, Georgian Seawater Lido and Museum and Art Gallery.
For those without cars Sway is less than 2hrs from Waterloo or Clapham Jn and there are connections by train to Brockenhurst, Lymington, Bournemouth, Winchester, Salisbury, or Southampton.
