Lavenders is located in the semi rural village of Tiptoe and surrounded by fields. We are situated just 150 yards from the open forest and are an ideal base for exploring the New Forest.
Originally known as Hillside - Tracey and Richard bought the property in January 2004. Hillside was a very modest property but has now been sympathetically renovated and extended and is now an impressive property which has been finished to a very high standard. Tracey was brought up in London - Lavender Hill in fact - and so the property was aptly renamed Lavenders!
The 'Lavenders' mob has gradually grown over the years and now consists of three very friendly dogs - Rio, a 10 year old Staffordshire bull terrier x whippet and two Rottweilers - Roxy, who is 4 and Lottie, who is 3. Also, two equally friendly horses - Mouse, a 7 year old IDX mare and Reds, a 22 year old Thoroughbred gelding - who are sometimes to be found grazing in the garden and are always on the 'look out' for carrots and apples.
Around the property (both inside and out) there are many 'lavender' items and the collection is always growing. There is a prize to any guests who can either guess or count the items correctly.
