The Rokeby Guest House is a beautiful, elegant, nostalgic Edwardian home of "Upstairs Downstairs" type offering warm family hospitality by the resident proprietors, Karen and Mark Rogers, who strive to give the sort of personal attention which inevitably creates a friendly atmosphere
It is set in half an acre of landscaped gardens, with ornamental fishpond, water lilies and fountain, leisure furniture and barbeque for 'al fresco' dining.
Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens, work out in the gymnasium or seek peace and quiet in the summerhouse. All the large guest rooms have colour television, tea and coffee hospitality trays, hairdryers, alarm clock radios, central heating and are maintained to a high standard with en-suite or private bath/shower rooms.
There is 24 hour internet access at no extra cost, with the provision for copying and CD writing also avalible .
The Rokeby has a full Fire Certificate together with facilities for fax and photocopying; ironing/trouser press, hairdryer and shoe cleaning. For the comfort of the vast majority of guests, it is also a smoke free zone!
We do have a full drinks licence.
