Whitemoor House overlooks open forest and "White Moor" from whence it's name is derived, refurbished in 2007 to a high standard, well appointed rooms offer comfort and a style, with double, twin and sumptuous four poster rooms for that special romantic occasion (champagne, strawberries & chocolates can be arranged on request).
Stephanie and John (who appeared in 2006 on BBC breakfast) will endeavour to make your stay a pleasure, with a detailed personal knowledge of the New Forest, residential licence and delicious breakfasts made using only the finest local produce, from free range eggs, farmhouse sausages and dry cured back bacon, or a lighter start to the day with smoked salmon with scrambled egg, all complemented by our home made marmalade and preserves.
We have a library of books which you may read during your stay and a lounge heated by a cosy log fire in winter where you may sit and relax, or play one of our board games in less clement weather.
The village of Lyndhurst is but a short stroll away where you will find an excellent selection of restaurants to meet all tastes, traditional public houses, cycle hire is also available.
