Western Heights is a refurbished early Edwardian house which retains many original features, including cast iron fireplaces, stripped doors and decorative exterior brickwork. The house has three floors with the accommodation all upstairs on the first floor.
There is one large bedroom with a king size bed, a fireplace, a large bay window and an en suite with walk-in shower.
There is another double room with a fireplace and a twin room which can be adapted to a six foot double. These two rooms share a bathroom which has a bath with shower over, and are best for group or family bookings.
Downstairs is a large sitting room with its open fireplace for cosy warmth in winter. There are books, games, dvd's and t.v. for those quiet moments. Information leaflets and maps are also on display for you to plan your outings. For those that may require it, online facilities can be made available.
Breakfast is served from 07.30am until 09.00am (negotiable) in the large open plan kitchen/dining room where Marion will chat with you as she prepares your food – with a choice of cereals, fruit juice, traditional cooked breakfast and toast on offer. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements by prior arrangement.
