Whether your stay is for business or for pleasure, you are sure of a warm welcome at Blackwater House. Alderholt's position near the New Forest, Cranborne Chase, Salisbury and the coast make it an ideal base for a holiday exploring the area.
At Blackwater House, the door is always open. We want you to feel at ease whilst you are with us, so please treat it as home. All that we ask is that you show respect and consideration for our other guests and that you do not smoke anywhere in the house.
Guests may wander freely in the front garden. If you are blessed with sun during your stay, please feel free to make the most of it.
A lounge is available for guest use at any time of day.
Nature lovers will enjoy walking in the extensive grounds, where a variety of wild and domestic creatures can be observed. We are very close to Cranborne Common Nature Reserve, one of the few remaining tracts of Dorset heathland, home to the Dartford Warbler.
