Also nearby are the River Stour, and the River Avon with beautiful scenic river walks and excellent fishing.
There are great beaches at Southbourne and Mudeford ideal for relaxing, swimming, windsurfing and sailing. The town of Bournemouth offers good beaches, pubs, restaurants, theatres and cinemas as well as good shopping facilities.
Nearby is the beautiful New Forest great for walking/rambling, lovely walks, ornamental drives, beautiful villages with very good pubs and tea shops, not forgetting the delightful New Forest Ponies and deer.
Getting around by car is easy or there are local busses and trains within easy walking distance of the guesthouse.
