Longwood is a New Forest cottage located in a secluded location overlooking Bartley Green
Longwood is a 100-year-old New Forest cottage, which has been sympathetically extended and restored. It has a large mature garden which is completely private, and which guests are welcome to make use of. The house enjoys a unique location right in the forest, about 2 miles north of Lyndhurst, overlooking Bartley Green. Although quiet and secluded, and very private, the house is not remote, and is conveniently situated for all Forest activities. The village Post Office and small convenience store is within a couple of minutes' walk, and there are several good pubs and restaurants within easy reach. The accommodation offered consists of 3 double-bedded rooms each with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The guest bathroom has a bath, twin wash basins and a separate shower cubicle. The breakfast menu can be anything from full English down to coffee and toast. Special diets or dishes can usually be accommodated with a little notice. Breakfast is normally served in the conservatory, but in fine weather, guests may like to take breakfast outside on the patio.
