Barton on Sea, Hampshire

Barton on Sea is part of the town of New Milton, Hampshire, next to the sea and the New Forest National Park. It covers approximately 5km of coastline, from Chewton Bunny on the Hampshire/ Dorset borders to Becton Bunny in the east.

Barton on Sea has spectacular views over the Solent and the Isle of Wight. The beach is mainly shingle with good water cleanliness. The beaches themselves are famous for fossils and many people collect them as souvenirs!

The Cliff tops and beaches make a great walk and the views can be beautiful, especially at sunset. Visitors have a good choice of places to eat out and a wide variety of New Forest accommodation makes this a great place to stay.
