New Forest Bed and Breakfast was started because founder Dr. Christian Fellowes and his mother have a guesthouse in the New Forest National Park. They couldn't find a comprehensive resource of all bed and breakfasts, primarily because they all required payment for a listing, or at least a decent listing.
This site is now in it's second generation and has grown dramatically from 3 locations to the number you see today. It's growth is a partnership between Dr. Fellowes and freshSPRING, a not-for-profit web company, to make it possible for users to find not just New Forest accomodation but activities, food and more in the wonderful New Forest.
Much of the development has been due to the feedback from users and bnb/guesthouse owners, so please keep it coming via the feedback form. Occasionally we will also put surveys on the site and it would really help if you could fill one in.
Also, if you feel this is a good resource we would be indebted if you can link to us from your website, blog, facebook page, etc. The more people that link to us the better we will rank in the search engines and hence the more people we can help!
